The Christmas run is a yearly run that Sara and I organize to see the Newport Beach Boat parade and this year is our 10th running.
This years Christmas Run was by no means a slam dunk because a couple of hours before the run the weather went south with rain, thunder and lightening. On our way driving over to Fashion Island to the start we were getting texts and calls asking if it was still a go, and some people we told to not come, but we knew we had to show up no matter what.
As we drove closer and closer to the beach the weather got better and better, until there was no rain, thunder or lightening. All of these brave souls showed up for the run and many even dressed up. The weather ended up being great and it was less crowded (easier to run) so it was an awesome time.
