Sara and I planned to meet up with Leah, Tom and Ethan in La Jolla this afternoon and decided to go for a swim first in La Jolla cove.
We just got some great closeout deals on wetsuits and wanted to try them out before the water got cold for winter.
The water was about 60 degrees so it took about 100 strokes to start getting used to the water…
Once we got in though we saw tons of sea lions yelling to us from the shore and a couple of them even came out into the water to check us out. On the way back
I could also see them cruising around below us.
Leah and Tom met us later with Ethan at the Scrips Ocean institute. This is a great place with tons of fish to see from all over the world, we were really impressed. It was so fun to hang out with these guys, especially Ethan who is getting so big.
