The 4th of July was a beautiful morning for a 10K at the Park in Laguna Niguel. Sara and I have done this race in the past and we love it. Its super close to our house, its a closed course around a small lake and great local people. Sara had a stellar showing with a 43:30 3rd overall woman and 2nd in her age group. I ran a 39:47 with a first in my age group and 10 overall in the race. Really fun race, a great challenge on the independence day of our country. Sara and I want to give a shout out to all of the armed forces that help protect our freedom every day; our lifestyle is possible only because of their sacrifice.
