Sara competed this morning in the RockIt Racing Aliso and Wood Canyon 17k (10.5mi) trail race this morning. It was a chilly morning for the start about 51 degree’s. We run often in this park which is just down the street from our Tuesday night run.
The race started on the trail just new Crown Valley road and continued down into the park, up of course Rockit hill, down Cholla and then back to the finish on the trail new Crown valley. Sara finished with a 1:31 time, 6th woman overall and 3rd in her AG. Tough AG but a clean, clear morning for a trail race.
