Sara and I love to celebrate Christmas with our friends and we also love to run. Combining these both produced the Christmas Boat Parade Run which we have done annually for about 14 years. This year was a great turnout of friends and newcomers to a beautiful night of running.

Next it is off to the run..we ran from Fashion island shopping center to Balboa island and across the bridge to start our run around the island to see the decorated houses and boats…
The houses on the island are decorated with some serious lights and Christmas decorations..
The yachts in the parade also had awesome lights..even a small lighted shark 🙂
This house is near the end of the run and puts out all of the stops to light up the night, even a two story Rudolf this year..
While running we met up with our great friend Jenn who didn’t make the run this year, but I am sure we can convince to come back and join us next year…
It was a great run with great people, we had tons of fun and can’t wait until next year…
