My father has made me proud at many times in my life but not as much as today. He has served the Lord for 50 years as a Lutheran Pastor (WELS). He would say that “it went by fast”, and he would say that “he never set out to do it for 50 years that I just kept going.” I can tell he loves it because even though he is “retired” he continues to teach and preach. He was recently honored at the church he serves at today for his service and was given this article from the newspaper that was written about him. What’s really cool is that Dad is seen here with Martin Luther – sometimes he reminds me of him!
