It has been way too long since I went to a bike race, so Sara and I were psyched to not only be in Wisconsin for the Downer Criterium
but also that our friend Marni is competing in the race.
We brought along our nieces and nephews with us to cheer her on…

It was an exhilarating feeling being back around racing. I actually got that anxious, butterfly in your stomach feeling just being there for the start of Marni’s race. I guess that racing is in my blood after so many years on the line.
