Flat Stanley paid a visit to the Rehab Department at the nursing home with Sara to see what it would be like to be a Physical Therapist. It was a very busy day helping people to get better and stronger after they have had an injury, surgery or an illness. Physical Therapists do exercises with people and help them to walk better and safer. Sometimes they travel to people’s houses to see if it is safe for them to go home, or if they should stay longer.
