This weekend we went down to Oceanside and Pendalton Marine base to watch our friends compete in the Ralphs Half Ironman Triathlon. It was raining for much of the race and the wind was blowing. Not a great day in the morning for the Triathlon and it cleared up in the afternoon when we got to the beach cottages on the ocean on Pendalton for the after race party. Our hosts Ken and Lisa Vice were extremely gracious hosts and brought tons of food and wine for all to eat and drink. We rounded off the night by starting a fire in a fire pit on the ocean and making smores. Here is a picture of the group and good luck to you all on your season of training and racing.
