Ok there is rafting on the river and there is floating on the river…both are an art form and to watch the true masters of river floating it is truely amazing…
First there is the prep – man there is alot of stuff to bring to prepare for just floating 2-3 miles. Then there is the logistics – having a place to park the car down the river with a nice sandy place to get out and haul your tubes up to the car. Then there is the food and beverages that you have to assemble and have a place to keep them cold while you are floating.
Second there is getting the car to the start with all of the gear, unloading and getting into the river
Dale was geared up to not only float, hold the cooler, but also get some great fishing in with this new rig..
Next there is the floating and in our case the fishing as well.
In a couple of spots the fish were really biting
This was really relazing and fun to be on the river moving wherever and at whatever speed it decided to take us down.

It was a fun trip and great to find out how it is done. Now to the last stage – loading up the car…
