Sara and I both got to compete with our friends today in the Long Beach Half Marathon. We car pooled down with LarDog and his cousin Cory to the race which was slick, but man was it crowded. Nothing like getting up at 4:30 AM and racing to Long Beach to run with 10,000 of your closest friends!
So we run our way to the front to get a spot and Sara bumps into her college running buddy Stubbs and totally wierd – cousin Cory knows her from Minnesota – super small world. Overall a great race day despite the humidity.
Sara did an awesome 1:34:37 and I did a 1:30:40.
