This morning Sara and I got to complete in the Orange County Duathlon. It was an overcast day with a heavy mist which turned into heavy fog and heavy mist near the start of the race in Santiago Canyon in Mission Viejo.
The race consisted of a 1 mile run, followed by a 22 mile bike and a then a 6.2 (10k) mile run
Sara had a great race finishing first in her age group with a 2:18

Kari had a really good race finishing first in his age group with a 1:59.

Instead a medals for placing this race ave out bottles of wine – good deal!

We had some fun celebrating with our riding friends Lori and Mike who also did the race and placed well.
