Ronald Reagan Library and Griffith Observatory

Tuesday we decided to travel to beautiful Simi Valley and visit the Reagan Library. Each President can now create their own library after they are out of office created by privately raised funs. Reagans library is special becuase they were able to include in their exhibit a decomisioned Air Force One airplane that was used by 4 presidents. It is a Boeing 707 totally preserved in a huge hanger on this beautiful propery. They also have the presidential limo and the Marine One helicopter that was used by Reagan.

On the way back toward LA we stopped at Griffith Park and drove up to the Observatory in which they have just completed a 4 or 5 year renovation. It is an amazing view from this location with a view of LA to one side and the Hollwood sign toward the mountains. You can sort of see it in the background.
