Today Sara and I and our friend Kara went up to Pasadena to view the Rose Bowl Parade Floats. We have had this on our goal list since we moved to California so we had our hopes up and we weren’t let down. All of the floats were on display on two streets and a parking lot in Pasadena, CA. We parked a couple of blocks from the viewing street paid our fee and we could spent as much time as we like looking at each of the parades. One of the guys that I work with worked on the building of the city of Sierra Madre float that was built completely by volunteers. We were in luck because he was manning the float for viewing and we were able to hear all about the float from him who worked on it for a year.
