Our goal of seeing beautiful greenish-blue water was satisfied once again. Here is our beach for the day on the island of Huahine. Sara and I were always looking for great places to swim and out to the right from the rocks in the picture below was an awesome current going to the left so we would swim toward the current to the right and then turn around and swim like champions back. The scene below was so beautiful it was hard to concentratetrate on swimming. Wish it was like this everywhere we swam.
We didn’t think we would run out of sunscreen but the unrelenting sun of this tropical summer changed our plans. This grocery store stocked speer guns and enough supplies to fully stock a boat for a long journey. Luckly they had plenty of sunscreen for us, too. The best part of the store was its location, location, loaction… right on the beach with and awesome view. Check out:
The water was so great this day and very calm so Sara and I decided to get some skiing in the morning and then after lunch we came back for more. Thanks to Dave, Carl and Marcus”Aurelius” (as Sara called him) for making this skiing so fun.
