Sara and I have been wanting to go to the Temecula Balloon and wine festival for years and we made it happen. The festival is broken up into two days.
Friday night is the Balloon light up and Saturday is the Balloon Flight or lift off.
We drove out Friday night after work and checked in to get our tickets to get into the area where they were getting the balloons setup
We drove out Friday night after work to first see the first balloons light up for the night as heat was forced into it by the giant fire blowers.
After the amazing evening light show it was time to camp out because in the morning we had to be back for the balloon lift off.
In the morning we got up at 6am to go and see the balloons being setup and filled for the morning flights.
There was action all over the place with balloons being field in the fairgrounds…
And these balloons being filled and casting off in the parking lot. They are such a beautiful sight to see in the morning light.
