We heard that on the East side of the Big Island (the rainy, tropical side) there was some cool zip lining so we decided to give it a go with the Appledorn clan. Sara and I had never been over to the rainy side of the big island so this was an adventure.
As we drove out the Queen K it curves around the north side of the island and it became more and more lush with green landscape and tree’s as we drove east to Hilo.
We zipped with Skyline EcoAdventures who were top notch in every way….

On the way back we drove through the middle of the island right next to the big volcano mountains and it was rainy, and so foggy we could barely see 20 feet in front of the car..quite a drive.
We were all famished when we got back to Kona we headed straight for a Thai food restaurant on Alii Drive and order our favorite – “Yellow Curry” so awesome..
