Sara was off of work today so we all went to the La Jolla area to hike and do some Kayaking.
We hiked on a couple of trails in Torry Pines and the weather was outstanding – sunny and just enough cool breeze to take any heat off of your body. One trail tool on a great overlook at the ocean…
on our way back up we saw this guy in the brush, he was a big rattlesnake….
After the hike we went down to La Jolla cove to check out the water and there were a ton of Sea Lions hanging out on the rocks, so we climbed out on the rocks to check them out. They were jumping up on the rock, and playing in the water and making a ton of noise.
After that fun it was time to get out on the water, so we went over to the beach and rented some wet suits and Kayaks and headed out on the ocean. We thought it was going to be calm but that was not in the cards today, we had some medium waves to get out and then some HUUUUUUUGGGGGEEE rolling waves out on the ocean – it was a blast!!!
